Daria H. Golden is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who treats children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric disorders. She brings several years of experience from a variety of mental health settings to the practice. Daria combines her clinical, research and counseling knowledge to further support the needs of her patients. She graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science/ Pre-Medicine, and then received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Regis College.
Daria’s compassionate approach is person-focused, and she believes that it is imperative to examine the many components of the individual, with attention to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Daria will provide insight, coaching and support to develop a treatment plan that will emphasize patient strengths while providing the individual with positive coping strategies. Your treatment will be based on your individualized needs, and may include medication management, diagnostic evaluation, laboratory work, life coaching skills and various focused therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based treatment, interpersonal therapy. She also carefully selects appropriate treatment modalities for children and adolescents, dependent upon thoughtful and detailed evaluation.
